Road Updates

The Village has a five year plan of which roads are planned for crack sealing and resurfacing. To assist in compiling this plan, the Village has a pavement condition survey completed every five to six years which analyzes the roadway maintenance and repairs the Village undertakes and assists in prioritizing the locations where the maintenance and repairs are performed. The pavement condition survey is completed using a high-tech pavement evaluation vehicle. This vehicle captures high quality digital images and laser data of the pavement surfaces. A combination of preventative maintenance techniques from crack sealing to asphalt resurfacing are compiled based on the recommendations of the pavement analysis report and a field review analysis. Another contributing factor to the resurfacing of streets is whether there are issues with the curbline or drainage that needs to be addressed. Each year in preparation for the budget, the five year paving list is reviewed to see if the conditions have changed enough to require the list to be modified.

See below for a list of streets and road projects for 2025 construction season.
