Online Registration

This eye-opening 8-hour state certificated course is designed to help train the driver/operator in how to safely drive fire service apparatus ranging from small vehicles to pumpers and aerial trucks. Students will receive classroom instruction in traffic laws as they relate to emergency vehicles and safe defensive driving techniques. Students will also receive a sort-of "train-the-trainer" on how to set-up and perform the NFPA driver's course with emergency apparatus so that they can take it back to their departments. It's a course that no driver/ operator should be without! This important course is a co-requisite for the Basic Operations Firefighter AND the Advanced Technician Firefighter course.
