Online Registration

Romeoville Fire Academy EMT course is fully compliant with the standards set forth by Illinois Department of Public Health and the National Registry of EMTs. Upon successful completion, the student will have satisfied each of the objectives contained within the DOT-NHTSA National Standard Curriculum and will be able to sit for the National Registry EMT Exam. This course is made up of classroom lecture, e xtensive hands-on skills, clinical time in a hospital emergency department, and in-field ride time on Romeoville Fire Department ambulances. Students will receive the course textbook the first night of class and are required to have access to the internet for out of class assignments.

To register for this course, you must meet the following requirements:

1. HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED
2. 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER
3. VALID ILLINOIS DRIVERS LICENSE & US CITIZEN
4. BLS PROVIDER CPR CARD (through American Heart Association)
