Online Registration

Romeoville Fire Academy EMT course is fully compliant with the standards set forth by the National Registry and is IDPH approved. Upon successful completion of the course, the student will have satisfied each of the objectives contained within the DOT-NHTSA National Standard Curriculum and will be able to sit for the National Registry EMT Exam. All classroom topics will be reinforced by extensive hands-on skills that will give the student the confidence to perform as a pre-hospital provider. Students will be required to perform clinical ER time, and in-field ambulance ride time, which is scheduled through the academy. Course materials are included in the tuition, and will be given out the first night of class. Students are required to have access to the internet for out of class assignments. Grading and attendance requirements are strictly enforced, with only 1 absence being allowed during the duration of the course. Full tuition payment must be made by the first night of class.

To register for this course, you must meet the following requirements:

1.           HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA or GED

2.           18 YEARS OF AGE or OLDER

3.           VALID ILLINOIS DRIVERS LICENSE & US CITIZEN

4.           BLS PROVIDER CPR CARD (Heartsaver is not accepted)

5.           COPY OF THE FOLLOWING VACCINES: MMR, Hepatitis B, and TB test less than a year old (TB Gold vaccine will also be accepted)
