Speaker, musician, and writer Ron Eckberg presents in word, images, and music, the story of that monumental day in the history of World War II as well as the history of our world. Eckberg, as the “proud son of a World War II frontlines combat veteran" draws upon his own years of research, interviews with World War II veterans, and visits to Normandy, France and the D-Day beaches to bring a program that will educate, inspire, and encourage all listeners.

About Ron Eckberg: He is currently writing a book of “essays, observations, and stories” of World War II and is the host of the Ordinary Heroes Podcast. He is a regular presenter at libraries, historical societies and other venues throughout northern Illinois. He and his wife, Judy, are both natives of Walnut, Illinois.

Stomp on over to the library and enjoy a roaring good time with Dinosaur Dimensions! They will be bringing your favorite dinosaurs to life with this entertaining and interactive performance! Patrons will have the unique opportunity to meet and interact with a variety of dinosaur puppets, including a meet & greet after the show.
