Romeoville residents can access information regarding trash, recycling, yard waste and bulky collection as well as pick up schedule and holiday schedule right on the Waste Management website by clicking here . For collection of big, bulky items, you need to create an account on their site and submit a bulk item pickup.
Each residence will be provided with a 96-gallon cart and senior citizens will receive a 64 gallon cart. Residential rubbish is collected once a week from the front curb of each residence. Rubbish should be placed at the curb no more than 24 hours prior to your normal pick up schedule (PDF) . Yard waste must be put in biodegradable bags only and no bag may exceed 50 pounds

Refuse Discount Program
The Village of Romeoville will be implementing a new money-saving service for homeowners. When a homeowner will be vacating their property for a period equal to or greater than 5 weeks, a refuse discount will be prorated for the number of days the homeowner is away from the property.
