Commuter Information

Service to the Romeoville Station on Metra's Heritage Corridor Line began on February 5, 2018. It was the first new stop on the Heritage Corridor since Metra’s creation in 1984 and the first new stop on any Chicago area Metra line since 2011. Located near the intersection of 135th and New Avenue, the station address is 899 E. Romeo Rd. The Heritage Corridor Line runs on weekdays between Joliet and Chicago Union Station.

The 495-mile Metra system serves 230 stations in the counties of Cook, DuPage, Lake, Will, McHenry and Kane. Once on Metra, you can reach Chicago's beautiful lake front, museums, zoos, events, shops, restaurants, and schools as well as quaint, historic suburbs and small towns. In some cases, Metra can take you practically to the front door of your destination and is easily in reach via Pace buses and/or CTA buses and trains. For more information, click on the links below:
