The Village of Romeoville was part of the Will Electric Aggregation Group which selected Constellation as its electric supplier in October 2018. The negotiated rate is $.07517/kWh through October 2021. ComEd recently released their rates for the next 12 months. These rates will be lower than those provided by Constellation. Effective November 2021, the Village will no longer be participating in the Aggregation.
Net-metered customers, those with solar power that have applied to ComEd’s net-metering program, will need to resubmit their net-metering paperwork to ComEd.
All other customers that were part of Constellation should have received a letter from ComEd. There is nothing that residents need to do or opt-in or opt-out of currently.
