Celebrate Founder's Day at the annual Founder's Day Parade!

Step back in time and celebrate a century of adventure as we honor Route 66: Rolling Through History at this year’s Founder’s Day Parade! Bring your creativity, classic cars, and hometown pride as we highlight the spirit, landmarks, and nostalgia that make Route 66 a symbol of American travel and community. We encourage all citizens, clubs, organizations, and village departments to participate. Local businesses are also invited to join the fun by creating a float, sponsoring a parade entry, or showcasing your brand while connecting with thousands of community members. Whether you’re marching with a group, designing a themed float, showcasing vintage style, or cheering along the route, there’s a place for everyone to be part of the celebration.

Join us as we cruise through history, celebrate Romeoville’s story, and create unforgettable memories together at this iconic hometown tradition!

Complete your parade application HERE .  All entry forms must be submitted no later than Friday, August 21, 2026.
