Fall 2026 League
Romeoville Recreation Baseball League
Our Fall Romeoville Recreation Baseball League is for boys and girls, ages 4-7. Our instructional baseball league is a great opportunity for your child to start the game of baseball or continue to develop their baseball skills to be prepared for the next season. Our league is for all skill levels with an emphasis on having fun, basic skill development, equal participation, teamwork and sportsmanship through 10 practices and 8 games. Each team will have one practice and one game each week (1 hour long). League updates and schedules will be sent one week before practice begins. Each player will need to provide their own glove and batting helmet for practices and games.
Uniforms: Each player will receive one jersey, hat, pants and socks
Coaches Needed: Volunteer coaches are an integral part of our athletic leagues and coaching clinics will be available to new and returning coaches. If you are interested in being a head or assistant coach, please email the Athletic Supervisor.
The Village of Romeoville Department of Parks and Recreation requires all volunteer coaches to be subject to a criminal background check. Passage of this background check is required before participating as a volunteer coach. The Department also reserves the right to decline the services of a volunteer coach at any time for any reason, including but not limited to noncompliance with applicable Village ordinances or policies, or applicable state law.

- Coaches Meeting: August 19 at 6:00pm
- Practices
- Begin week of August 24
- Practices: Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday: 5:30-7:30pm
- Practice times may vary upon program registration and coach availability.
- One practice each week for one hour
- No practice on September 7
- Games
- Begin September 12
- Games: Saturdays between 10:00am-1:00pm
- Game times may vary upon program registration and coach availability.
- Last Day of Games: Saturday, October 17
- Games canceled on Saturday will be made up during the week
- Start and end dates are weather pending
