No one shall cause or allow open burning of any waste, garbage, landscape waste, municipal waste or organic matter within the corporate limits of the village.
Exceptions
- Aged logs burned in a free standing fireplace with a screen and lid covering entire fireplace
- Fireplace to be located at least 10 feet from the nearest portion of a structure
- Do notuse if wind speed within the village is more than 15 miles per hour

Prohibited Burning
Leaf burning is prohibited. No one shall make a fire for the purpose of disposing of leaves in the following area within the limits of the village:
- Alley
- Driveway
- Parking Lot
- Street
- Yard
- Construction material
