This one day class covers topics such as fireground survival, engine operations, supervision of a truck company, coordinating extrication and overall firehouse hot topics.

RFA Company and Advanced Fire Officer Programs
The Romeoville Fire Academy will be offering the Company Fire Officer Program and Advanced Fire Officer Program. Our officer programs will be delivered in a traditional classroom setting. Phase 1-Education and Phase 2-Practical Application are required at a minimum (3 weeks). Phase 3 will be offered as an Elective course at RFA to give students an opportunity to complete their taskbook.
If students do not wish to complete their Phase 3 taskbook at RFA, they will be required to complete it at their home agency. Phase 1 & Phase 2 are the only REQUIRED dates that must be attended to meet all other requirements except the task book.
