Spring Conservation Efforts Thrived in the Community!

This spring, the Conservation and Sustainability Committee successfully organized the sale of Rain Barrels and Monarch Garden Planting Kits, available for pickup at the Public Works Open House. Both initiatives were met with enthusiastic support from residents.

Rain barrels not only help conserve water but also provide cost savings and environmental benefits. This year’s orders reached a record high, marking the largest number of rain barrels sold to date!

Additionally, the committee offered residents a meaningful way to support the habitat of the Monarch butterfly. Each planting kit included 18 native plant plugs designed to attract and sustain butterflies.

Thank you to all who participated in making these efforts a success. Your support helps foster a more sustainable and environmentally friendly community!
