Everyone is invited to bring their pumpkins and gourds to Lewis University's "W" parking lot on Saturday, November 7, 2026 (the Saturday after Halloween) from 9 AM to 12 noon. Pumpkins can be dropped off in our container, which will be taken for composting after the event and turned into a nutrient-rich soil supplement. Painted pumpkins are welcome, but please remove any candles, bags, or boxes from your pumpkins before dropping off for composting. Residents can also bring confidential documents for onsite shredding (limit 3 bank boxes per vehicle) and electronics for recycling (limit 3 TVs per vehicle). No appointment is required.

• Electronics recycling is also offered. Limit 2 TVs per vehicle.
• Everyone is invited to bring their carved or painted pumpkins to Lewis University's "W" parking lot on Saturday, Nov. 2 (the Saturday after Halloween) from 9am to Noon!
• Naked Pumpkins Only! No candles, bags or boxes!
• This is a chance for a decorative natural item to be recycled, as all the pumpkins collected will be taken to a site to be mixed and composted. Eventually they will become a highly nutritious soil supplement, feeding future crops, gardens - or perhaps a new pumpkin patch!  Be part of the fun and bring your family or friends to see who's pumpkin flies the highest!
