The Fallen Heroes Memorial is a section of the Veterans Memorial that honors those who made the ultimate sacrifice defending the freedoms of all Americans. To honor the men and women who have served in one of the five branches of the armed forces, the Village of Romeoville recognizes their accomplishments at the Edward “Doc” McCartan Veterans Memorial. The memorial is a 12" X 15" plaque with a 5" X 7" metal photo and other service details.
Qualifications:
- Must have lost their life while on active duty
- Must have lived within the Village of Romeoville during their time of service
