Nickel Bingo

Nickle BINGO will be played from 10:00AM-12:00PM on Mondays and Tuesdays each week.  Please bring your own refreshments if you would like something to snack on during the game.  One time registration is required.  Free to join.  Cards are a nickel a card per game.  Must be 50+ to register.

Wednesday Drop In Day

Every Wednesday from 11:00AM-3:00PM residents and non-residents 50 and over can participate in dominoes, cards, and board games with conversation.  Free to join. Please bring your own refreshments if you would like something to snack on.

Golden Age Club

The Romeoville Golden Age Club meets every Thursday from 1:00PM-4:00PM.   Seniors enjoy socializing over lunch, cards and bingo. Members must be 55+ years to join and may do so by coming to any Thursday meeting.

Golden Age Club Membership Fees:

  • January-February: $20
  • March-August: $25
  • September-December: No new memberships are taken.

Golden Age Club Bunco

The Golden Age Club sponsors Bunco once a year in May to raise funds for the Springfield trip. Cost for the Bunco is $5 with different prizes awarded throughout the night.

Open Gym

Join us during  Open Gym to get yourself moving.  

  • ACTIVE LIVING (50+ YEARS OLD) & Walkers: Monday - Friday - 9:00AM-3:00PM
  • PICKLEBALL: Tuesdays - 11:00AM-1:00PM

Gym shoes must be worn.  All residents must obtain a free Active Living Open Gym ID from the Front Desk.  This must be presented at the Front Desk each visit.  Non-residents must pay $2 each visit at the Front Desk.

Fit 4 Life Fitness Center

The Recreation Center offers a 3,000 square foot fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, locker rooms with showers and a beautiful aerial view of Village Park. You will enjoy getting in shape with our convenient hours and quality services. Discounted rates are offered to seniors 60 and up.

Fit 4 Life Group Fitness Classes

Group Fitness classes are included in Fit 4 Life Fitness Center Memberships.  Or you can drop in for $5 residents or $7 non-residents.  

  • FIT & ACTIVE: This class consists of building strength and stability as well as working on balance and posture.  Help make daily activities easier by training with light weights, bender ball, and a chair.  Do a short cardio section, strength and balance exercises, and end with stretching.  All are welcome as modifications are easily applied.

Romeoville Aquatic Center

The Romeoville Aquatic Center is nearly 11,000 square feet of pool amenities including zero depth entry, lap pool, winding river and vortex pool, with locker rooms, showers and much more.  The Aquatic Center offers designated Open Swim, Lap Swim, River Walking times, as well as a variety of Aquatic Fitness Classes for all ages and ability levels.

Illinois Senior Olympics

The Illinois Senior Olympic games are held annually in September. Local games are held throughout the state during the spring and summer. Men and women age 50 and older may compete in more than 50 events including swimming, track and field, bowling, golf, archery, and team sports. Ribbons and medals are awarded. Qualifying competitors are invited to go on to the National Competition which is held in the odd numbered year.

Bowlero Senior Bowling League

Bowlero (735 Center Blvd.) has special reduced bowling rates during Club 55 hours, exclusive awards program, including weekly recognition awards, expert instruction and lightweight bowling balls are available. Phillip Lynch Theater
