The Romeoville Fire Department holds a fire insurance classification of 2 within the Village — a designation that reflects the department’s high level of training, equipment, and operational readiness. The department provides a wide range of community services, including CPR certification courses and Community Education programs. Additionally, the department conducts over 1,000 fire inspections annually throughout the business community, public buildings, and houses of worship.
