It is the mission of the Romeoville Police Department to improve quality of life by safeguarding the lives and property of the people we serve in our community. By working in partnership with the community, we are committed to reducing the fear of crime, and preserving order through fair and impartial enforcement of laws, while at all times conducting ourselves with the highest ethical standards.

The Department is comprised of dedicated employees, both sworn and civilian, who are committed to serve the citizens of Romeoville. The Department recognizes that the citizens of Romeoville desire to live in a safe community free from crime and disorder. We believe that police officers working in partnership with members of the community can have a positive influence on the quality of life within Romeoville. We are dedicated to continue our efforts to make Romeoville an even better place to live.
