Romeo Rd., is open as a cooling center Mon.-Fri. 9:00 a.m.- 9:00 p.m. and Sat.-Sun. 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. If you require a cooling center after these hours, please contact the Romeoville Police Department at 815-886-7219.
BE A GOOD NEIGHBORThe Village of Romeoville would like to encourage everyone to be a good neighbor. Think about neighbors and friends who do not have air conditioning and ask if they have transportation to a Romeoville cooling center. Let neighbors know ahead of time if you are willing to help them if they do not have the ability to cut their grass or clear any downed branches from a storm. Check with these neighbors after a storm to be sure they are okay and ask if they need assistance.
